Senior Teacher Training Executive of Power English Center.
Mr. River graduated from University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National
University, Ho Chi Minh City (USSH, VNU-HCM), majoring in English Linguistics and
Language Teaching, Faculty of English Linguistics and Literature. Afterwards, he continued to
earn a master’s degree in TESOL from the same university with the highest score in that course.
During the years of teaching, Mr. River has been widely evaluated as a dedicated, friendly,
creative and an inspiring teacher. He has always put his heart and soul into every single lesson
that he has delivered. Besides, he has strongly believed that a teacher should also act as a friend
of his or her students’ so as to minimize their gap both academically and spiritually. What is
more, Mr. River has unceasingly researched and created unusual teaching techniques and
activities that can stimulate students. Last but not least, from his point of view, teaching is not
just about information, but also about inspiration, which helps students to gain their confidence,
love the lessons, feel like receiving and producing the language and skills, and be willing to step
out of their comfort zone.
He is currently the senior teacher trainer at an education company. His job involves observing
nearly 50 foreign teachers, giving feedback, organizing one-one-one training sessions and
company training programs. This job noticeably helps him to accumulate countless interesting
and useful teaching techniques and activities as well as continuously find solutions to a variety of
teaching problems, which in turn strongly supports his teaching job, especially teaching how to
teach.
